As we slowly emerge from the past year of lockdowns and restrictions here in the UK, it’s horrifying to see the scenes unfolding in India and other countries around the world as COVID-19 hits harder than ever. Our community wanted to do something to help and have chosen a number of sponsored activities and other efforts to raise money.

This week our students will be swimming in the sea, running laps on the beach, cartwheeling and eating chilies to raise money to send to the Disasters Emergency Committee for their Coronavirus in India Appeal.

We’d like to also ask all our of our friends and followers to either sponsor a student or donate to the DEC or another charity working to provide oxygen and other vital support to those suffering in India.

When you donate it would be lovely if you also add a comment below so we can see how much money we inspired. Watch this space for photos of how we got on with our challenges.

Now mother to two daughters Kezia chose to stay home with her family and home educate her children before embarking on founding East Kent Sudbury School.
