In January 2019 we opened our doors in a self-contained wing of Cliftonville Community Centre, Margate, which served as the stage for our community to live and learn until March 2020. But we never stopped searching for that perfect long term home and we finally found it in the summer of 2020, reopening in September in Buckland House, Dover.
Moving to Buckland House has afforded us the space we always dreamt of to provide for our students many interests and activities. We now have dedicated spaces for particular interests such as a library, art room, music area, computer room, maths and science space, project space and playground. As well as spaces dedicated to socialising and play. Like most things at East Kent Sudbury, the exact nature of each space is constantly in flux as we respond to the needs and wishes of the community and several spaces have had a few make-overs already as we find our feet in our new home.
